
David Murgia is a journalist, author, and member of the Pontifical International Marian Academy. Through his journalistic investigations, he has helped expose self-proclaimed visionaries and false mystics.
The New York Times described him as a “formidable investigator of the sacred,” while The Times called him an “expert in monitoring cults.” He was the first journalist in the world to publish in full the Vatican’s secret dossier on Medjugorje.
He is the author of numerous books and publications on Marian apparitions, mysticism, and demonic phenomena.
He teaches and is one of the organizers of the Course on “Exorcism and Prayer of Liberation,” the only course of its kind in the world officially recognized by the Holy See, at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome. He lives in Rome.
